Sanford and Pinehurst

Dr. Talis received his undergraduate degree in arts and sciences from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He went on to get a doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at one of the top podiatry residencies in the country, New York Hospital Queens. Dr. Talis is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Talis is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgeons in foot surgery and is also board certified in reconstructive rear-foot and ankle surgery. He is a sought-after lecturer at state and national-level meetings. Dr. Talis has served as chief of podiatry at Womack Army Medical Center. He has taught and mentored resident doctors, performed over a thousand surgical procedures, and helped thousands of patients achieve their goals.

Dr. Thomas was born in India and grew up in the southwestern United States. He graduated from Biola University, with a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to receive his doctorate from Western University College of Podiatric Medicine in California.

He recently completed his surgical training at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center. His interests lie in biomechanics, sports medicine, wound care, and trauma. Dr. Thomas is looking forward to getting board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. In his downtime, he enjoys working out, playing video games, and surfing.

Sanford

Dr. Mansi Patel obtained her undergraduate degree in biology and psychology from Rutgers University and then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her residency training at Inspira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey, where she served as a chief resident. Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and qualified in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. As an active member of multiple podiatric associations, Dr. Patel is dedicated to continuing education and keeping up with the most innovative treatments. She has been involved in several research publications and has also completed training at The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Patel recently moved to North Carolina from Philadelphia and is excited about serving the community here. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
